Avent Isis Breast Pump On the Go Set

I love the Avent Isis On the Go Set!

My second child was unable to nurse for the first two weeks of his life. He was in a hospital with a feeding tube at that time. The hospital provided a very good (but HUGE) electric breast pump for the nursing moms to utilize in order to provide breast milk for their babies that were otherwise unable to nurse.

But when away from the hospital I needed an easy to use, discreet and portable system to help alleviate the engorgement and excess milk.

I bought the Avent Isis On-the-Go Breast Pump Set. I loved it!

The best part is of course the breast pump itself. It is small and discreet. The pump fits comfortably and I experienced no pain during the pumping process.

I loved that the pump is designed to mimic actual breastfeeding. You control the "suction" by how hard and fast you press the pump lever. I found I was able to pump large amounts of milk in a very short amount of time. I absolutely loved it.

I really liked the added benefit of the on the go set as well. Everything could be contained in the cooler style bag which kept things organized. And it worked out well to keep my sons milk fresh until I could get it to the hospital. You get bottles (which are great) in two sizes as well as nipples and storage lids. The pump connects directly to these bottles which is awesome.

In all I give the Isis Breast Pump a 5 (out of 5) stars! A perfect solution for moms on the go. Really affordable as well.
