Avent Isis
When my daughter was only 10 weeks old and exclusively breastfed, I landed in a hospital with an acute attac of cholelithiasis. As I had to spend a week there and take medications that did not mix well with breastfeeding, she had to be switched to formula instantly.
Upon my return, she was such a severe case of nipple confusion that reestablishing breastfeeding was impossible. That's when I decided on exclusive pumping.
I've tried really many pumps, including the praised Medela and Avent electronic ones - but the only thing that worked well enough for me (in terms of allowing acquisition of sufficient volume) was the old good Avent Isis manual breast pump.
Big yay for Avent then - both from me and my daughter, who is a thriving toddler now.
