Breastfeeding Again?

Breastfeeding Again?

Breastfeeding Again?

Vistitor Question: I have stopped breastfeeding for about two weeks now. The reason I stopped was because of a breast infection and cracked nipples also because of not being able to keep up with his demand. My baby is only a month old, if it is possible should I start breastfeeding again?

Breastfeeding Magazine Response: It is possible to relactate. This process involves getting your little one to take the breast again and getting your milk back.

Our suggestion is to read our Relatation page and start taking the herb fenugreek as soon as possible.

The longer you wait, the more difficult it may become.

Good luck and congratulations on your new baby!
