Contrary to some popular culture, breastfeeding benefits are not just for babies. Our entire society enjoys the benefits of breastfeeding. According to Dr. Frank Oski, MD, a retired editor of the Journal of Pediatrics:

"Formula feeding is the longest lasting uncontrolled experiment lacking informed consent in the history of medicine."


Does that sound like the very best way to feed a baby? Of course not, but formula companies have spent millions of dollars trying to convince our mothers and grandmothers that it was the better way to feed a baby...and are now trying to tell this generation of moms that it is “just as good.”
