Breastfeeding Twin Girls

Breastfeeding Twin Girls
Submitted by Jenn
(New Mexica, USA)

I was determined to breastfeed my twin baby girls. I am a firm believer that mother’s milk is the best thing for them, especially before six months of age.

I had breastfed my previous two children with no problem, and I believe that they are a lot healthier as a result of not having been exposed to artificial formulas and all the chemicals that are created with their production.

I faced a new challenge breastfeeding twins, though - having enough milk! I was feeling wrung out and I was concerned that they were getting enough to eat.

The doctor said, however, that I was blowing it way out of proportion- they were small babies, although they were gaining weight normally, and that I had nothing to be worried about.

They are two years old now, and happy, healthy little ladies!
