Is my baby gaining too much weight?

Visitor Question: My son was born weighing 7lb 7oz. He drooped to 6lb 4 oz at 3 days. At 6 days he was back at his birth weight. He is now 6 weeks and weighs 13lb 8oz. He only eats for about 5 -7 minutes every 2 to 3 hours.
