Know Your Rights & Gain Your Allies

Visitor Working and Breastfeeding Tips:: I had to read up on my rights as a nursing mom (although there isn't really much where I am.)
Every country may have different flavors of it. I sure hope there is some global body to put some perks for brave nursing moms for juggling everything possible!
Anyhow, (with not much right) it's good to gain allies with your boss and teammates. Had to "hog" a meeting room for my scheduled pumping sessions (1 less meeting room to use for meetings...sorry) and i had to go with the pumping scheduled of 2-3 hours a day, as much as possible.
Pumping milk was my 1st (and last) order of business. Had to change my work shift to avoid the traffic congestion and make sure I get home in 30mins...just enough for me to cleanup and be ready for my baby's feeding.
I did most of these for almost 18 mos (to my eldest who's not had formula due to her hypersensitivities). Happy to have made it...and my baby is now turning 3 and still feeding. :) Now, i'm trying to re-live all these for the new baby. Struggling, with a lot more workload this time, but determined to do it (because it's definitely worth it!)...hope to have more support this time though.
Let's all do this, co-Working Moms!!
