Medela Pump in Style Advanced Backpack (Visitor Review)

I got a gift certificate for $150 from Babies r Us and a coupon for 15% off, so I paid the difference and bought this pump.

At the register they gave me an additional 10% off, and with that I purchased the repair plan, valid for 1 year.

This pump has been a life saver!

It is worth every penny. I pump 4 times at work, using the Medela sanitizing wipes. Depending on the time of the day, I can pump anywhere from 3.5 oz to 12 oz in 15 minutes.

In the beginning I was using the expensive Medela bags, but then I started trying different cheaper brands, and the best so far has been Lansinoh. It won't spill when you pour in a bottle, it has double zipper so it won't leak and it stands. You only have to put some tape around the breastshield to hold it.

These are half the cost of the Medela ones that come with a yellow strap already. I also tried The First Years and Gerber but they are not as good as Lansinoh bags.

My baby is 2 months old and is having nipple confusion, he latches to my breast only when he's sleepy, otherwise he rejects my breast, so I have to pump everyday around 6-7 times.

The Medela Pump in Style has helped me establish and maintain my milk supply, even though they told me at the hospital that I needed to rent a hospital one, so far this one has worked. I love it and I got the car charger so I use it anywhere!
