Peaceful face time!

Peaceful face time!

Peaceful face time!

Try to treat breastfeeding as a peaceful and blessedly quiet time, especially if you have more than one child and you have help with the other children (e.g. husband occupies them or takes them for a bike ride, to the beach, park...), and during the middle of the night/morning feedings (2 a.m.).

Really return your baby's gaze while you breastfeed, as you will have very rare opportunities to look this deeply into your child's eyes later. Just try getting your weaned toddlers to look you in the eye that long and that sincerely!

I will often prolong the time nursing in the glider chair just because it is so peaceful.
